Andrea Bergart

Andrea Bergart is a New York City-based visual artist and designer. Her work draws inspiration from various sources, including textiles, urban fashion, and basketball culture. She creates paintings that often reference basketball court lines and geometric abstraction, with a focus on highlighting both male and female professional basketball players.

Bergart has also created public murals on cement trucks, basketball courts, and even a traditional dhow sailboat sail. She has received a Fulbright Scholarship to Ghana and participated in residencies in Senegal, Kenya, and the United Arab Emirates, where she led solar printing workshops. Her work has been exhibited in the United States and the UK, and has been featured at the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
